Brewers (0-1) v. Giants (1-0)

The Crew got 3 runs off Tim Lincecum and knocked him out after the 3rd inning…….and lost.  4 words……way to go Soup.  Let’s move on please.  Here is your preview for the 2nd game in the series:

Yo makes his season debut (a day late thanks to Macha) against Randy Johnson.  Yes, the Randy Johnson who has been around since 1925 and has 295 career wins.  While Johnson may not be as as feared as he once was, he is still a good pitcher.  The Brewers have had success against Johnson in the recent years however.  Hopefully the offense can score another 6 runs and this time it will be enough.  Trust me, the San Francisco offense really is not that good.  Trust me, Suppan is that bad.  Yo-Ga needs to step up and show that we have some dominant pitching of our own.

It will be interesting to see if the Brewers continue to run on the Giants the rest of the series.  They definitely made a point of it in the opener.  Also, let’s see if a Brewers pitcher can come out of the bullpen and not give up a run.

Alright, lets even this thing up and give ourselves a chance to win the series on Thursday.  Go Crew!

  1. Yep, it was a black day in brew town. The pitching broke down and the failure to get that
lead runner home in the first inning made my gut turn. When are the BREWERS going to learn that the basics of baseball is the foundation to success.

  2. GARY SZYMKOWSKI

I GIVE THIS TEAM ABOUT ONE MONTH UNDER MACHA WHEN YOU WILL SEE HIM TAKE CONTROL OF THIS TEAM AND GET HIS TEAM TO PLAY HIS WAY. MACHA’S TEAMS WERE ALWAYS WELL PEPARED AND FUNDAMENTLY SOUND. THEY ARE STILL IN YOST MODE. BY THE WAY WEEKS LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER AT THE PLATE WITHOUT THATWAGGLE IN BAT, BUT WHY HAS HALL(WHO NEEDS TO GET HIS ACT IN GEAR) OPEN UP HIS STANCE AGAIN? LAST YEAR HE CLOSED HIS STANCE A LITTLE AND NOW HE IS BACK TO HIS OLD WAYS!!!
