Reds (2-3) V. Brewers (2-4)

Jeff Suppan is bad.  He is flat out horrible.  As for the rest of the game.  It was extra disappointing that Reed Johnson robbed Prince Fielderof a game tying grand slam. Not only because that would have been a huge momentum switch and would have tied the score at 6, but because Johnson was only in the game because Milton Bradley hurt himself running the bases in the 4th.  I guarantee you there is NO way Bradley makes that catch.  I guess that’s moot, but it is just a case of bad luck.  We need to get this fixed.  Here is your game preview:

Believe it or not, the Brewers face another tough young pitcher tonight in Edinson Volquez.  The kid has skills. He throws real hard, so again look for the Crew to strike out a lot.  In his first outing of the year the Mets roughed him up pretty good (5ER in 4 1/3 innings), so hopefully he still won’t find his groove.  The possible savior of the season is going for the Brewers tonight.  Yovani Gallardo was all that we really had to be excited about the first week.  He has so much pressure on him, it is hard to believe.  So much for Macha’s goal of putting no pressure on him.  Well, I think we get this thing turned around sooner or later.  Hopefully sooner, rather than later.  Go Crew! Yo-Ga!
